INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was sentenced Wednesday to 276 years in prison for the slayings of two women and the wounding of four children in an Indianapolis apartment in 2006.

Royal Amos was convicted last month of murder, attempted murder and burglary in the deaths of his girlfriend, Keyonia Dunn, and her friend Erika Thornton, 31, and the wounding of the women's children.
